Momori had tailed the boy for weeks. No matter where he went, he carried his family’s keepsake tucked safely within his right pocket. It made ‘borrowing’ it troublesome.
Borrowing...wasn’t the right word. She needed it. Permanently.
The keepsake was just one piece of a larger artifact - one with the potential of bringing clean water to arid communities across Thanalan. Others would have asked nicely, but Momori knew that such tactics wouldn’t work. Not when the keepsake was all the boy had to remember his family by.
She watched as the boy blew out a candle and settled into bed. It was time. Momori silently stepped in, and with practiced fingers, she swapped out the keepsake with a fake.
There was no point feeling bad. It was for the greater good, after all.

Momori will often visit libraries, seek out fellow historians, and study ruins to learn more of the past. Perhaps there’s an overlapping interest! She might seek you out, or you may see her pouring over some dusty tomes.

Eyo! I'm Nutley. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past 10 years. Nowadays, I'm a game master for DnD and Pathfinder, and have been roleplaying in FF14 for about 2 years now! Anything goes - I'm eager to share stories!
OOC banter and trust is important to me. I always prioritize the human behind the character, and part of that is (very slowly) getting to know you.
